Dear users~ To make chat more stable and smoother, we’re rolling out a major upgrade to our IM system, scheduled to go live on March 16.
This is a foundational upgrade, not just bug fixes, but a full backend evolution that takes the overall chat experience to the next level.
✨ What’s included in this upgrade?
🗑 Conversation Deletion Issue Fixed
Previously, some conversations could not be deleted properly. This issue has now been fully resolved in the new version.
🔄 More Reliable Multi-Device Sync
In the past, conversations occasionally failed to sync correctly across devices. With this upgrade, we’ve introduced a new Cloud Conversation mechanism:
● Conversations are stored in the cloud
● Logging in on a new device will fully sync your conversations
● Multi-device experience is now more stable and consistent
📌 About Historical Conversation Sync (Important)
● Your chat history will be preserved — nothing will be lost
● Conversations with activity after January 19 will automatically sync to the new IM
● If you’d like to sync conversations that had activity before January 19, simply send one new message in that conversation to trigger the sync
No manual migration or backup is required — it’s quick and simple.
🚀 Experience Improvements
● Smoother upward scrolling in the message list
● Reduced scroll jitter
● Overall more natural chat flow
● Improved automatic reconnection mechanism: as long as your current window is active, IM will automatically attempt to reconnect if it goes offline. When multiple browser tabs are open, the active tab will maintain the connection and automatically reconnect if needed.

😇What’s next? 🤗This upgrade lays the groundwork for further improvements. We’ll continue optimizing: ● Message send & receive latency ● Connection success rate ● Stability under weak network conditions ● Reconnection reliability We’re committed to making IM more stable and reliable over time. No additional action is required from you, just make sure you’re using the latest version of the app. To clarify, Conversation Sync refers to this list:
