I tried a text coaching service from a reputable, branded company. I was surprised by how thoughtful some coaches were. I was also frustrated by how inconsistent others were. Waiting 2–3 minutes between replies is one thing. Getting stood up in the middle of a vulnerable conversation is another. I’m not naming the company. This isn’t about them. It’s about the responsibility that comes with being a coach. People aren’t just paying for advice. They’re trusting you with a moment where they need someone to show up. If you can’t be present, don’t open the door.
