Yesterday I spent hours talking to someone from Brazil. The day before that, it was someone from France. We grew up on opposite sides of the world, with different languages, cultures, and experiences, yet somehow we still found things to laugh about and stories we could both relate to. That's one of my favorite things about being on ePal. Every conversation feels like opening a small window into someone else's life. I get to learn how people think, what they value, what they're curious about, and even the little everyday details that I'd never discover by reading about their country online. It's funny how quickly strangers can make the world feel smaller. A simple conversation can completely change the way you see a place. Brazil isn't just a country on a map anymore. France isn't just famous landmarks. They're people with personalities, dreams, worries, and stories that make them feel real. I think that's why I keep coming back. Sure, it's nice to meet new people, but what I really love is being reminded that no matter where we're from, we're all a lot more similar than we think.
