🖤🐈⬛ KEEP YOUR CATS SAFE THIS HALLOWEEN !!
🖤🐈⬛ Halloween is getting closer, so please keep your black cats safely inside and give them a little extra care. Black cats still face cruel superstitions, but they aren’t evil, cursed or bad luck. They’re innocent animals who feel pain and fear, and deserve to feel safe and loved. Hurting or killing an animal for entertainment, a “ritual” or a Halloween prank is absolutely horrible. Their lives are not a joke. Halloween can also mean open doors, unfamiliar visitors, loud noises and decorations that can frighten pets. Keep them in a quiet, comfortable room during the busiest hours, check that windows and doors are secure, and make sure their microchip details are up to date. Keep sweets, candles and costume accessories out of reach, too. If you witness someone threatening or harming an animal, please take it seriously and report it to the police or local animal welfare authorities. Protect all cats, whatever their colour. Black cats deserve love every day of the year not fear because of a human superstition. 🖤
