Hello to anyone who reads this rah rah,

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge my sudden absence from Epal and apologise for disappearing without any explanation, especially to those who reached out and received no response.

I decided to take some time away from the platform and disconnect for a while. My mental health has been the worst it’s ever been in my life, and work, as well as external family commitments/finically supporting them, has left me stressed to oblivion. Everything was building up, and it makes me sound weak, but I just couldn’t handle it tbh.

After witnessing my patient take his life, my mental health kinda spiralled, and then things kept adding up on top of each other, and I spiralled more and more until I ended up basically having a mental breakdown. I coped by suppressing my emotions, and one night I drank too much, which was supposed to be just a fun time with my friends, and I think I emotionally broke down. It was so bad I got to the point of taking my own life and tried to. Nevertheless, I appreciate everyone who took the time to check in on me, and I'm grateful for the kindness and concern you've shown; it really does touch my heart, especially since it’s not something I’m used to all that much. I won’t be super active socially still, so I’ll probably keep to myself a bit, as I came back for financial reasons, but I’m really, really sorry for my peculiar behaviour before I left, and I’m really, really sorry for worrying you all.
