...and they're actually the ones i used when i first started on epal !! before i had a proper mic, i just used these rolled up earphones and tried to make do with it. i'd recently moved countries and decided to continue putting myself out there through singing and talking to people. when i first made my character, i wanted her to look and feel like me. something simple that i could share with the site, without having to create someone entirely different from myself. i wanted everything to feel true to who i was, even the little details. looking back, these earphones remind me of that version of myself. a girl starting in a new country again, finding her footing, making friends, singing to strangers and slowly making a little space for herself on epal. so this release is a little tribute to where it all began. to my first character, my humble setup, and the girl who decided to sing anyway. a little piece of my beginnings, now yours to keep. xoxo, your local karaoke girl ♡
